These strategic partnerships help ARC tackle the most challenging healthcare needs, including sharing data across institutions via the cloud to enable joint research and validation studies.

Some industry partners come from fields outside healthcare and provide their expertise to translate applications into solutions that can alter the way treatment is delivered around the world today.

"> Alongside government offices and public sector organizations, ARC shapes solutions that may result in regulatory and policy changes. One such example is the reimbursement of remote cardiac rehab in Israel. In the future, we aim to be able to provide hospitalization at home services and expand the reach of hospitals into their surrounding communities.

"> Together with other leading medical centers, we co-develop innovations that can improve healthcare delivery at each of our centers and beyond. Projects are determined based on mutual interests and vary from multi-center and validation studies to pilot programs.

A dedicated partnerships manager provides support to link the appropriate clinical teams from both institutions and helps with all aspects of each project.

"> By bringing valuable stakeholders together, our innovation communities find ways to promote synergy among all of our partners. This is done through increased exposure to innovation at all levels in our ecosystem, specifically projects with startups, corporate partners from the industry, other medical centers, and the public sector. These members of our network play an integral role in the exchange of knowledge among a wide variety of professionals.

ARC promotes a startup-friendly environment that serves as a beta site for proof of concept projects and/or pilots. Startups work side by side with clinicians, researchers, data scientists, and others. With complete access to Sheba Medical Center’s clinical facilities and data, startups take advantage of streamlined processes as well as connections with our ecosystem. Startups work in each of ARC’s innovation hubs and are paired with at least one clinical champion to serve as the company’s principal investigator for all research studies or pilot programs. A dedicated portfolio manager from Sheba’s team helps to ensure the success of each project.
